What every online shop must show since 27 September 2026
Directive (EU) 2024/825 amended the Consumer Rights Directive, and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 set the design and content of two marks. They apply across the EU from 27 September 2026:
- Harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity - at least 2 years - displayed prominently, for all goods,
- Harmonised label (EU GARAN) - when the producer offers a free commercial guarantee of durability longer than 2 years for the whole good and shares this information with the trader.
The module places the official European Commission designs in your PrestaShop shop - in the right language and in the right places.
Harmonised notice on the legal guarantee
- Official graphic (SVG) and PDF in 24 EU languages, selected automatically for the shop language.
- Choose where it appears: product page, cart, checkout, order confirmation, footer - for each place pick the hook and mode: link with a pop-up or inline block.
- A dedicated page about the legal guarantee with a link to the Your Europe portal.
- The notice PDF attached to selected e-mails, e.g. the order confirmation.
EU GARAN label for products with a durability guarantee
- Data in the product sheet: years, producer, model, period, terms URL and guarantee PDF.
- The label is shown only when the guarantee exceeds 2 years - as the regulation requires.
- Compact version (full label on click) or full label; appearance settings.
- Also shown in the cart, checkout, order confirmation and optionally on product listings.

- Repairability and spare parts information.
- Texts per shop language.
For developers
- 3 custom hooks for non-standard themes and a hook status overview.
- Multistore support, debug mode and logs.
- Product data is kept after uninstalling (deleted only if you enable the option).

Frequently asked questions
Is the label mandatory for every product?
No. The notice on the legal guarantee applies to all goods. The EU GARAN label only to products for which the producer offers a free durability guarantee longer than 2 years and shares this information. The module shows the label only for such products.
Which languages are included?
The official European Commission designs in all 24 EU languages, matched to the shop language. Module helper texts: English and Polish (other languages can be translated in PrestaShop).
Does the module make my shop fully compliant?
It displays the official marks of Regulation 2025/1960 in the places you choose. Durability guarantee data comes from producers and your terms remain your responsibility. The module is not legal advice.
