What GPSR requires from an online store
Since 13 December 2024 the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 applies to consumer products sold in the EU. For every product offered online, the listing must clearly show:
- the manufacturer - name, postal address and electronic contact,
- the responsible person in the EU when the manufacturer is established outside the EU,
- information that identifies the product - type, batch or serial number,
- warnings and safety information in a language consumers easily understand.
RB GPSR Pro gives PrestaShop a place for all of this data, shows it on the product page and helps you complete it quickly - even for very large catalogues.
What the module does
- GPSR tab on the product (Modules tab of the product page): manufacturer, importer, responsible person, type/model, batch/lot number, safety note per language, warnings and documents - saved without reloading the page.
- Entity database: manufacturers, importers and responsible persons with address, country, e-mail, phone and website. Create once, use on any number of products; edit and delete at any time.
- Manufacturer mapping: assign the GPSR manufacturer, importer and responsible person to each PrestaShop manufacturer once - all its products inherit the data. A product can still override it.
- Multilingual warning templates, e.g. “Not suitable for children under 3 years”, “Contains small parts” - assign one template to hundreds of products.
- Product documents: user manuals, EU declarations of conformity, safety data sheets, assembly instructions, certificates or label photos (PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP up to 10 MB), for all languages or one language. Customers download them from the product page.
- Compliance audit: how many active products lack a manufacturer, a responsible person, warnings, documents or translated safety notes - plus a list of products to complete with direct “edit product” links.
- Flexible display: product tab, block next to product information or your own theme hook.
- Diagnostics and one-click repair of hooks, tables, the admin tab and the documents folder.
AI for large catalogues
Connect any OpenAI-compatible API with your own key. Based on the product name, category, manufacturer and description, the AI proposes safety warnings and a safety note in every language of your store - French, Spanish, German, Polish and more in one request.
- One product: “Generate AI suggestions”, check the result and click “Apply all suggestions”.
- Whole catalogue: the batch generator processes products one by one with a manufacturer filter, a delay between requests, skipping products already completed, live progress and a Stop button.
- The AI never invents certificates or declarations of conformity. Always review the suggestions - you remain responsible for the published information.
In your customer’s language
The product page block is translated into English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Polish (other languages through standard PrestaShop translations). Safety notes and warnings are stored per language; if a language is empty, the default store language is shown. The back office is available in English and Polish.

One-time payment, price in euros shown above, VAT included for consumers. EU businesses with a valid VAT number (checked automatically in VIES at checkout): net price, reverse charge. Non-exclusive licence for one store installation or domain, entered in the order.

Frequently asked questions
Does the module make my store compliant automatically?
It gives you the tools to collect, complete and display the information GPSR requires. The data itself - manufacturer details, documents, the final wording of warnings - comes from you and your suppliers. The module is not legal advice.
Do I need AI?
No. All functions except the suggestions work without an API key.
How much does AI cost?
The module adds no fees. Your AI provider charges you for API usage; a cost-effective model is enough for warnings.
I already use RB GPSR Pro 1.0 - what about my data?
Upload version 1.1 over the old one. All entities, warnings and product data stay in place.
Can I show different documents in different languages?
Yes. Each document can be assigned to all languages or to one language only.
